The World's Longest Lapdance
I had a regular gig at a bar, owned by a friend of mine in the construction business. A lot of bikers (motorcycle gang) used to hang out there.
One day, I showed up to work to be informed that one of the bikers was having a birthday party, and a stripper had been hired to dance. I figured, no problem, all in a day's work.
So, at the appointed time, the dancer arrived. I thought she would dance for 15 or 20 minutes, then leave. But she didn't.
She kept doing lap dances on this guy for a whole 45 minute set. There are only so many songs in my repertoire that are appropriate to play while a naked woman is dancing ( Legs, Mustang Sally, Roadhouse Blues, Tush, etc).
My bass player was so blown away, he had to stare at the ceiling in order to keep his mind on his work.
At the end of 45 minutes, we took a break. The guy who hired the dancer came up to me, and said, "Hey, I hired that girl for an hour and a half, you guys need to keep playing, or I'm wasting money".
I explained to him, that we were entitled to a 20 minute break. He then pointed to his buddies, who looked like the Hell's Angels, and said, in a very polite way, "Do you really wanna upset those guys?"..
We were back on stage in less than 2 minutes.
